Steamboat's free summer concert series returns to the base of Howelsen Hill for 2026 - which, is just across the street! Bringing a variety of artists each year, this series is a gathering of all ages and backgrounds in our little neck of the woods. - Comedy on the Mountain - Saturdays Summer 2026
While we're nestled in the heart of historic downtown Steamboat, you'll find event happening all over Steamboat Springs. On select Saturdays through the season, you can end your day with laughter at 9,000 feet in the warm glow of Thunderhead Lodge. The Main Street Steamboat Farmers Market is back, popping up every Saturday from June 6th to September 26th from 9AM to 2PM (except for select dates, such as July 4th's parade day). - Steamboat Springs Pro Rodeo - Fridays and Saturdays June 19-August 29, 2026 The Steamboat Springs Pro Rodeo Series brings authentic Western excitement to downtown every Friday and Saturday night from June 19 through August 29, 2026, plus a special July 2nd performance. These PRCA-sanctioned rodeo events kick off at 7:30pm at the historic Howelsen Hill Rodeo Grounds, conveniently located right in downtown Steamboat Springs, with BBQ and live music starting at 6pm to set the perfect atmosphere. It's an unforgettable way to experience genuine cowboy culture and Colorado's ranching heritage without leaving town, making it an ideal evening activity for hotel guests looking to immerse themselves in Steamboat's authentic Western spirit.
